Camp features and the class buffs they stand in for
Most of Forever’s profession camp features are variants of class buffs and do not stack with them. The full table of pairs from Blizzard’s 21 October camping guide, and how a party should use it.

Forever’s camp features are not just furniture. Most of them are stand-ins for a class buff, and Blizzard’s camping guide of 21 October says which. The guide calls these effects variants of buffs normally provided by specific classes, and exclusive with them.
That gives a party a simple rule. A camp feature can fill a gap in your group’s buffs. It cannot stack on top of the class buff it replaces.
The pairs
| Camp feature | Profession | Effect | Does not stack with |
|---|---|---|---|
| First Aid Kit | First Aid | 3–56 Stamina | Power Word: Fortitude |
| Fishing Bowl | Fishing | 8% increased stats | Blessing of Kings |
| Mana Well | Alchemy | 10–29 mana every 5 seconds | Blessing of Wisdom |
| Sharpening Wheel | Blacksmithing | 6–34 Strength | Strength of Earth Totem |
| Enchanted Lute | Enchanting | 28–260 Armor, 0–13 all stats, 0–22 all resistances | Mark of the Wild |
| Incense Candle | Herbalism | 2–25 Intellect | Arcane Intellect |
| Camp Chair | Skinning | 2% critical strike chance with all spells and attacks | Moonkin Aura |
| Faction Banner | Tailoring | 14–32 Spirit, for members of your faction | Divine Spirit |
All of these become available at profession skill 20. Most ranges are level-dependent, so the top figure is not what a low-level character receives. Two features in the guide have no class counterpart: Engineering’s Reagent Bot and Leatherworking’s Camp Tent.
Using the table
Look at who is in your group first. With a Priest present, a First Aid Kit adds nothing that Fortitude does not. Without a Druid, the Enchanted Lute brings back a Mark of the Wild-style buff. The camp is most useful where your class mix is thin.
The wording changed during the beta. The 1 October development notes switched camp features to “mutually exclusive” instead of plain “exclusive”, to reduce confusion. The 21 October table still mixes both terms. Read them as the same rule.
One pair to watch
The Camp Chair grants critical strike chance with all spells and attacks, and the table pairs it with Moonkin Aura. The 16 October notes narrowed Moonkin Aura to spell critical strike chance only and made it raid-wide. The guide does not say how the exclusivity works for a melee or ranged attacker when a Moonkin is present. Don’t assume either outcome until it has been tested.
The rules for when camp buffs apply and how long a fire lasts are covered in our campfire timing article.
