Un’Goro Crater has always felt like a place the titans left running. Forever goes up into the hills to show more of it. Blizzard’s dungeon preview of 20 October lists Shaper’s Terrace for levels 58 to 60, in the northern hills of Un’Goro Crater.
A titan facility above the crater
The terrace is an ancient titan facility overlooking a land that seems untouched by time. The preview lists its ingredients: dinosaurs, titan structures, tar pits and powerful crystals. It names no bosses and says nothing about who, or what, still runs the place.
Planning
At 58 to 60, Shaper’s Terrace is the narrowest band of the nine new dungeons, and it overlaps with Blackmaw Hold at 55 to 60. Together they give a level-60 group two new options before raids open in December.
Bring the crystals with you
The preview’s most practical line is about preparation. Bring power crystals gathered throughout Un’Goro, and use them at consoles inside the terrace.
Most dungeons ask you to arrive with full health and mana. This one asks you to arrive with something from the zone outside. Un’Goro veterans will remember power crystals from the original game’s crater. The preview does not say whether these are the same crystals, how many you need or what the consoles do.
It also does not say whether the crystals are required to complete the dungeon or add something optional. Until the launch client answers that:
- Gather crystals as you quest through Un’Goro, rather than making a separate trip later.
- Ask everyone in the group to bring some, so one person’s bags are not the only supply.
- Check your quest log for anything that explains the consoles before you go in.
