Krol’dok Stronghold: ogre kidnappers, and chanting after dark

Travelers are going missing in the Riverglades, and the trail leads to an ogre fortress. Blizzard’s dungeon preview of 20 October lists Krol’dok Stronghold for levels 40 to 45.
Raiders on the road
The premise starts outside the dungeon. Ogre outrunners have been kidnapping travelers and ransacking communities across the Riverglades. Players follow their trail back to Krol’dok Stronghold, a sprawling fortress with workshops, encampments and guarded interior passages, and set out to put an end to the raids.
That is a clean, satisfying setup: a dungeon you arrive at because of what you saw happening in the zone around it.
What the description suggests about the layout
Workshops, encampments and guarded interior passages describe a fortress with distinct areas rather than a single corridor. The preview does not say whether players choose routes through it, as it does for some other new dungeons, so do not plan around branches that may not exist.
Planning a run
At 40 to 45, Krol’dok follows the Drowned City at 35 to 40 and comes before Alcaz Prison at 48 to 53. The preview gives no faction access note, and it does not place the fortress within the Riverglades, so locating the entrance is a job for the launch client or your quest log.
The chanting after dark
The more interesting line is the preview’s last one. Players are also asked to investigate the strange chanting heard from the stronghold after nightfall.
Ogre raiders explain the kidnappings. They do not obviously explain the chanting, and the preview stops there. Whether it points to a ritual, a hidden power behind the ogres or something else entirely, Blizzard has not said, and it is better left as a hook than guessed at.
