Cenarion Moondust now survives a failed Lunaclaw attempt

A one-line fix in the 16 October beta notes: sprinkling Cenarion Moondust on the stone during “Body and Heart” no longer uses it up, so you can come back later and summon Lunaclaw again.

Druids working through “Body and Heart” can stop worrying about a failed attempt. Blizzard’s 16 October development notes include a one-line quest fix: Cenarion Moondust is no longer used up when you sprinkle it on the stone.

What changed

Before the fix, sprinkling the Moondust consumed it. If the attempt went wrong, the quest item was gone.

Now it stays in your bags. The notes spell out what that means: if you need to try again, you can come back later and use it again to summon Lunaclaw once more.

What it means for you

A failed attempt at Lunaclaw is no longer a setback in itself. You can leave, recover and come back with the same Moondust. There is no need to rush a second try before you are ready.

The notes do not change anything else about the quest. They give no level, no location for the stone and no advice on the encounter, and they say nothing about other Druid quests. The fix is listed in the Darkshore section of the notes, alongside two other Darkshore quest fixes: furbolg camps that were not granting credit for “How Big a Threat?”, and “For Love Eternal”, which can now be turned in to Cerellian Whiteclaw at any time.

It is a small change, recorded in beta notes and not yet seen in the launch client. For anyone whose attempt went wrong during the beta and cost them the Moondust, it is the fix that mattered.
