Forever planning status: Use this guide to plan Argent Dawn progression in WoW: Forever. The rates, caps, quest steps and reward gates below are inherited Classic reference; their Forever tuning and availability remain unconfirmed. Check the actual quests and quartermasters before stocking cauldron or reward materials. Forever's Legacy Diplomat perk and racial bonuses can change gains; use your actual displayed reputation per turn-in when converting the base figures below into a shopping list.
Inherited Classic baseline:
Argent Dawn reputation comes mainly from Plaguelands quests, Scholomance, Stratholme and Scourgestone turn-ins. Both factions use it for profession recipes, resistance shoulder enchants and cheaper Naxxramas access. It starts at Neutral in the original Classic baseline.
Use Argent Quartermaster Lightspark at Chillwind Camp for Alliance, Argent Quartermaster Hasana at the Bulwark for Horde, or Quartermaster Miranda Breechlock at Light's Hope Chapel for either faction. Light's Hope Chapel is in eastern Eastern Plaguelands.
How to gain it at each standing
Standing bars need 3,000 reputation to Friendly, 6,000 more to Honored, 12,000 to Revered and 21,000 to Exalted, before racial bonuses.

Equip the Commission before farming
At level 50, take the Argent Dawn Commission quest from an Argent Dawn camp and equip the trinket. Carrying it in your bags is insufficient. Eligible undead can then drop Scourgestones. The upgraded Seal of the Dawn or Rune of the Dawn also supports this collection.

Using a Valor Token grants another 25 reputation. A complete batch plus its consumed token is therefore 50 base reputation. Scourgestones and Valor Tokens bind on pickup: collect them on the character that needs the reputation, rather than planning an alt transfer or auction-house purchase. Minion's stones come from lower-level eligible undead, Invader's from higher-level undead, and Corruptor's chiefly from eligible bosses and named enemies. Human Diplomacy changes the displayed gains.
Save stones and tokens for Revered if you are farming dungeon trash anyway. Keep 10 tokens for Mantles of the Dawn and another 25 for Chromatic Mantle of the Dawn if you want both unlocks. Spending every token on reputation first can force more farming later.
Unlock the cauldron repeatables
Follow your faction's Scourge Cauldron chain from Chillwind Camp or the Bulwark. Clear the four Western Plaguelands farms, kill each Cauldron Lord, loot the key and use the corresponding cauldron. Complete the report steps with Alchemist Arbington or Apothecary Dithers as directed. Ask that NPC for a free Vitreous Focuser through dialogue and keep it in your bags: it enables the farm-material drops used below. If it was deleted, request a replacement before farming.
After each farm's unlock, its repeatable gives 25 base reputation and consumes 1 Arcane Quickener, 4 Runecloth and the following farm material:

Arcane Quickener expires after 30 minutes. Buy it from Alchemist Arbington or Apothecary Dithers only when the other materials are ready and you can reach the cauldron promptly. These turn-ins remain useful when kill reputation has capped; killing a Cauldron Lord alone does not unlock every farm's repeatable.

At Revered, hand over 10 Valor Tokens for Mantles of the Dawn, then buy single-school +5 resistance shoulder enchants from the quartermaster with gold. At Exalted, the separate Chromatic Mantle quest consumes 25 tokens and unlocks the +5 all-resistances enchant. The tokens unlock access; they are not an extra token price on every purchased mantle.
Naxxramas attunement with Archmage Angela Dosantos costs 60 gold, 5 Arcane Crystals, 2 Nexus Crystals and 1 Righteous Orb at Honored; 30 gold, 2 Arcane Crystals and 1 Nexus Crystal at Revered; nothing at Exalted. It is a personal one-time flag. Compare the saved materials with the time needed for more reputation before delaying a scheduled raid.
Frost resistance crafting for Naxxramas
Reach Master Craftsman Omarion in a cage in Naxxramas's Military Quarter, before Razuvious. With 300 in the relevant profession, ask him to teach Icebane plate for Blacksmithing, Polar leather or Icy Scale mail for Leatherworking, or Glacial cloth for Tailoring. The crafter needs Revered for the hand and wrist pieces, and Exalted for the chest pieces and Glacial Cloak. These are direct teaching options. A wearer can commission the bind-on-equip gear without having the crafter's profession or reputation.
The crafts use Frozen Runes from Naxxramas's wall objects. Collect a Word of Thawing from Naxx trash to open a rune, and agree who receives the scarce crafting materials. Looting a Frozen Rune binds you to that Classic raid save even if no boss has died. Use the guild's intended save when collecting, and keep the runes for the planned crafts. Frozen Runes are tradable in the inherited baseline, so buying them or commissioning the finished gear avoids an unplanned collection save. Reserve crafting runes rather than activating their fire-protection use.
For the paid NPC alternative, ask Omarion for his handbook through the non-crafter dialogue and complete Omarion's Handbook with Craftsman Wilhelm at Light's Hope Chapel. Wilhelm's hand and wrist turn-ins cost the listed materials plus 200 gold each. His chest turn-ins require Exalted and charge 300 gold; Glacial Cloak also requires Exalted and charges 200 gold. Compare that fee with commissioning a player crafter before committing materials.
Wilhelm's inherited level-60 turn-in bills are below. Choose the piece you need, then compare its complete bill with a player commission; these are alternatives, not materials to buy for every row. The chest pieces and cloak add the Exalted gate. A Bolt of Runecloth is five raw Runecloth.

Armaments and insignias
The late-Classic Light's Hope Chapel armament quests are another planning option. They start at level 55 and Friendly standing. Complete each collector's initial request before using its repeatable; each batch below supplies one insignia.

Dispatch Commander Metz also exchanges one Valor Token for a Sealed Craftsman's Writ. Open it for a random material assignment, then complete that specific task for a choice of insignia. Inspect the full bill before buying ingredients: spending tokens on random writs is not automatically cheaper than the direct collection batches, and it competes with your shoulder-enchant unlocks.
Quartermaster Miranda Breechlock takes both insignia types for each armament reward. Higher standing reduces the price:

Superior choices are Band of Piety, Band of Resolution, Verimonde's Last Resort, Supply Bag, Leggings of the Plague Hunter and Sanctified Leather Helm. Epic choices are Amulet of the Dawn, Bracers of Hope, Bracers of Subterfuge, Medallion of the Dawn, Talisman of Ascendance and The Purifier. Choose the reward first, then compare its saved currency at the next standing with the extra reputation grind. These insignias are separate from Argent Dawn Valor Tokens.
Tips
- Wear a Commission-compatible trinket on eligible undead kills even after direct kill reputation caps. Stone drops are still useful.
- Run the dungeon whose loot your group needs. Boss kills and Corruptor's stones make useful progress after Revered without requiring a separate outdoor grind.
- Check the reputation panel when farming slows. A capped source will stay capped regardless of how many more identical mobs you kill.
- Bank unlock tokens separately from the tokens you intend to consume for reputation.
