Terms of use
These terms set the rules for using WoW Campfire (https://wowcampfire.com). If you don't agree, please don't use the site. If you create an account, you accept them when you sign up.
Who we are
WoW Campfire is an English-language fan news, guides and tools site for World of Warcraft: Forever. It is run by Future Developments s.r.o., IČO 03472451, DIČ CZ03472451, Rybná 716/24, Staré Město, 110 00 Praha 1, Czech Republic, entered in the commercial register kept by the Municipal Court in Prague, section C, insert 231242 ("we", "us").
Contact: info@wowcampfire.com, in English or Czech. This is also our point of contact for users and authorities under the EU Digital Services Act.
A fan site, not Blizzard
WoW Campfire is not affiliated with or endorsed by Blizzard Entertainment. World of Warcraft and related names are trademarks of Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. We use them only to say what our content is about.
Our content is for information
We write guides, news and tools to help players, but we can get things wrong. Much of our game data comes from game files, Blizzard's posts and testing, and Blizzard can change items, spells, maps, talents and dates at any time before or after launch. Articles show what we knew when we wrote them.
Check important details in the game or with Blizzard's official sources before you rely on them. Nothing on the site is official Blizzard information.
Accounts
Signing up. Use an emailed code or create an account with your email address and a password, then confirm your email when prompted. You can correct your email address before submitting it. Where a social sign-in option is offered, you can use that provider instead. Before you start, we show you these terms and our Privacy policy. The contract is in English. We don't archive individual contracts; the current terms are always on this page, and we send earlier versions on request.
- You must be 16 or older to create an account.
- An account is for one person. Don't share it or sign up for someone else.
- Keep your email, password and any connected sign-in account secure. Tell us if you think someone else has used your account.
- You can delete your account at any time from your account page or by emailing us.
What you add. Anything you add must not break the law, impersonate anyone, harass or offend people, or advertise or spam.
Reporting and moderation. Report illegal content or other problems to info@wowcampfire.com. People on our team review every report. We may remove content, or suspend or close an account, that breaks these terms, abuses the site or puts other people or the service at risk. If we restrict or close your account, we tell you why and how to contest it, unless the law or a safety risk prevents it. You can contest it by replying to us at info@wowcampfire.com.
Acceptable use
Please don't:
- scrape, crawl or download the site in a way that slows it down, harms it or gets around our limits
- abuse Ask Campfire, for example by automating questions, trying to get around its rate or spending limits, or trying to make it ignore its rules
- try to break, probe or bypass the site's security, or access data or accounts that aren't yours
- use the site to break the law or to harm other people
We may block access from people or systems that do these things.
Ask Campfire
Ask Campfire answers questions about World of Warcraft: Forever. Answers are generated live by an AI model (Claude, by Anthropic) from our articles, and we do not check them before you see them.
- Answers can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, even when they cite an article. They can draw on draft articles, which are marked Draft. Read the cited article and check important details yourself.
- Don't type personal information into your questions. Our Privacy policy explains what happens to them.
- Ask Campfire has limits on question length, conversation length and how often you can ask, and answers one question at a time. It can also pause when it reaches its daily limit, and it may be unavailable at times.
- It only helps with World of Warcraft: Forever questions our articles can answer, and it may decline others.
Our content and licences
We and our licensors hold the rights the law gives us in our articles, guides, illustrations, films and site design. You may read them, share links to them and quote short passages with credit and a link. Please ask us before reusing anything more.
Game names, icons, artwork, maps and other game assets belong to Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. We show them to explain the game; these terms give you no rights to them.
Links to other sites
We link to Blizzard, to the sources we cite (such as YouTube, Reddit, Twitch and wago.tools), to our social profiles and to Wowdee, which has the same owner as WoW Campfire. These sites have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content.
The service
WoW Campfire is free. We may change, pause or remove features, including Ask Campfire, at any time. We try to keep the site available but cannot promise it will always work or be free of errors.
No guarantees
Our content and Ask Campfire answers are general information. They may be wrong, so check them before you rely on them. The free site may sometimes be unavailable.
If you use the site as a consumer, our liability follows the law and these terms do not limit it.
If you use the site for a business, we are not liable for losses from relying on our content or Ask Campfire answers, or from the site being unavailable. This does not cover harm to life, health or other natural rights, or harm caused intentionally or through gross negligence.
Changes to these terms
We change these terms only for legal, security or service reasons, and post the new version here with a new date. If you use the site without an account, the version on this page when you use it applies.
If you have an account, we email you at least 30 days before a significant change takes effect, and we show a notice on the site. You can reject the change by deleting your account before then.
Governing law and disputes
Czech law applies to these terms. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live. You can bring a claim in the courts there where the law allows.
If you are a consumer, you can also refer a dispute to the out-of-court consumer dispute body, the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce): https://coi.gov.cz/informace-o-adr/.
