Forever planning status: Use this guide to plan Zandalar Tribe progression in WoW: Forever. The rates, caps, quest steps and reward gates below are inherited Classic reference; their Forever tuning and availability remain unconfirmed. Check the actual quests and vendors before buying coins or bijous. Forever's Legacy Diplomat perk and racial bonuses can change gains; use your actual displayed reputation per turn-in when converting the base figures below into a shopping list.

Inherited Classic baseline:

The Zandalar Tribe lives on Yojamba Isle off northwestern Stranglethorn Vale. Both factions start Neutral. Reputation comes from Zul'Gurub kills, coins, bijous and its quests; the rewards include class armor, a progressing necklace, profession recipes, Zanza consumables and Exalted shoulder enchants.

The bars require 3,000 to Friendly, 6,000 more to Honored, 12,000 to Revered and 21,000 to Exalted. Neutral to Exalted totals 42,000 base reputation.

How to gain it at each standing

Neutral onward: raid kills and the bijou unlock

Clear Zul'Gurub in a 20-player group. Eligible trash and bosses grant reputation through Exalted, so there is no need to stop raiding at Revered. In Classic the raid resets every three days. The amount per clear varies with optional bosses and trash skipped; do not budget a fixed total for every group.

Speak to Vinchaxa on Yojamba Isle and take A Bijou for Zanza. Destroy a colored Hakkari bijou at the Altar of Zanza and finish the quest. This is the one-time introduction to converting further bijous. Bijous are tradable before use, so a non-raider can buy them rather than farm each one personally.

Repeatable turn-ins through Exalted

Turn-inImmediate base reputationTokenTotal if you consume the token
Destroy 1 further bijou at the Altar of Zanza751 Zandalar Honor Token125
Turn in one complete three-coin set to Vinchaxa251 Zandalar Honor Token75
Use 1 Zandalar Honor Token50Consumed50

The three accepted coin sets are:

  • Zulian, Razzashi and Hakkari: one of each.
  • Sandfury, Skullsplitter and Bloodscalp: one of each.
  • Gurubashi, Vilebranch and Witherbark: one of each.

Three random coins are not necessarily a valid set. Buy or trade for the missing member of your cheapest complete set. A bijou's color does not change the basic reputation conversion.

From exactly 0 Revered, 168 bijous with all their tokens consumed give 21,000 base reputation. Alternatively, 280 complete coin sets with their tokens consumed give the same amount. These figures exclude the one-time introduction, other quests, kills and reputation bonuses. They are alternatives, not a shopping list to buy together.

Keep reputation tokens and reward tokens separate

Consuming tokens reaches the next standing sooner. Saving them pays for rewards once you arrive. Honor Tokens bind on pickup; buy or trade the coins and bijous before converting them on the intended character. Reserve 15 Zandalar Honor Tokens per Exalted shoulder signet, and keep additional tokens for the live Zanza consumable turn-in you intend to use. The first bijou quest's extra reward makes its result different from an ordinary repeat conversion.

Rewards by standing

Class rewards are quests from the relevant Yojamba Isle NPCs, not all direct purchases from Rin'wosho the Trader.

Armor turn-ins require the correct Primal Hakkari token as well as standing. The class trinket requires four different Edge of Madness boss components and the appropriate Punctured Voodoo Doll, not simply Neutral reputation. Check your class quest before distributing those drops.

Zandalar Signet of Might gives 30 attack power, Mojo gives 18 spell damage and healing, and Serenity gives 33 healing. Each costs 15 Honor Tokens at Exalted. They are shoulder enchants, separate from Zanza's class-specific head and leg enchants inside Zul'Gurub, which require Friendly standing and one class-specific Doll plus one Primal Hakkari Idol per application. The Idols bind on pickup and come from Mandokir and Jin'do; the Dolls come from Jinxed Hoodoo Piles and can be traded. Each class Doll is Unique, so complete one enchant before collecting a second Doll for the other slot.

At Revered, Zanza's Potent Potables offers one Spirit, Swiftness or Sheen of Zanza for 1 Honor Token in current Wowhead Forever and Classic quest data, checked on 17 October 2026. ClassicDB and some older overviews instead list 3. The Forever database record is a planning reference, not proof that the vendor or quest is live; verify the actual turn-in before buying a large supply. Unique-item and buff rules limit how many you can carry or use together.

Tips

  • Visit Yojamba Isle before your first raid to collect the class quests and bijou introduction.
  • Compare gold per reputation: a bijou with its token is 125; a complete coin set with its token is 75. Keep reserved reward tokens out of that calculation.
  • Pool coins only under an agreed raid policy. One incomplete stack can be less useful than trading it for another player's missing coin.
  • Save your current class necklace. Each upgrade quest consumes the earlier version.
  • If assigned the Heart of Hakkar, use it and finish its one-time delivery with Molthor on Yojamba Isle. Its trinket choice is separate from the class-set and enchant currencies.
